And Elliott for tea.....!

And this is when Elliott came!

I'm a Beaver!

I was lucky enough to start Beavers in September. I really like it, especially as I know so many of the people who go (from my school this year and some that left last year). We do lots of interesting things and on my 4th week, I got invested.

Mummy bought me the uniform and a neckchief and cap and on my investiture I got a blue woggle (I am in blue group). Mummy, Daddy, Sam and Maddie came to watch me make my promise (which I said all on my own rather than saying it after Raksha) although Sam wasn't a very good boy and was very noisy!

We are going to be very busy at Beavers up until Christmas, Mummy has a full diary of events I will be enjoying!!

And Ethan for tea!..

And here I am with Ethan!

Alex for tea!

New term at school and that means friends round for tea again! Here I am with Alex!

'Lets go fly a kite!'

A new term - I'm a Fox!

A whole new school year - and now I am in Year 2, the last year of infant school.
I am in Fox class this year, lets hope I learn a lot!

I'm an Alien!

Say no more!!

Mini Holiday part 3 - Conkers!

On the last day of our little holiday we had tickets to visit Conkers, a big science park like the Look Out. We had fun looking round the exhibition and playing with the gadgets and games. We then caught the little train which took us to another part of the park. We played in the Adventure playground and had a look round the water bit. We caught the train back and then Mummy and I did the assault course. It was supposed to be for over 13's but I managed to do most of it and I was really brave as some bits were very hard to climb and very high! We ate our picnic lunch and then went for a drive (to get Sam to sleep!) and we had a walk round a little town. Then we decided to go back to the hotel for a swim in the pool and our bath and tea!
The next morning after breakfast Uncle Trevor met us with Nanny Peggy and we bought her home! (Although the drive home seemed to take forever as the M25 was closed!). Maddie was pleased to see us when we got back! We had a fantastic mini holiday!

Mini holiday part 2 - Alton Towers

After a delicious breakfast in the hotel we headed to Alton Towers. It took about an hour to get there as the Sat Nav was telling us to go a very obscure cross country route! It was quite a long walk from the carpark but we finally arrived and didn't have to queue as we already had our tickets!

There was loads of things to do. We went on the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ride (I really liked the glass elevator bit at the end) and I got to go to the Peugeot driving school and wizz around a big car circuit! I even got a driving licence with my photo on it! The weather was a bit wet and murky but we still managed to eat our picnic lunch outside. Mummy went on a few of the adult rides (that looked way too scarey for me) and then it started to rain!

The rain didn't stop Daddy and I going on the log flume which was great fun. We dried off a
bit looking round the aquarium and Sam loved all the fish.

The sun then decided to come out and we had a great time running about and going on lots more rides! I also got to meet the Alton Towers bear. Sam was a bit scared of him though!

All too soon it was time to go home and we were all exhausted on the drive home. After tea in the hotel bar we all had an early night! Ready for tomorrow's adventure at Conkers!

Our mini holiday!

On the same day as Ben's christening we were going on our mini

holiday. We left the pub at about 2.30pm and dropped Maddie off at Nanny and Grandad's house. We then drove all the way to the East Midlands. We found our hotel room and it was huge - 2 big beds, I was sharing with Sam! After we had looked around and unpacked we got changed and went for a swim in the hotel pool.

We went to the restaurant for our tea and I had a 3 course meal! We then all went to bed as we had had a very busy day and we had to be up early for Alton Towers the next day!

Ben's Christening

Here I am outside the church after my nephew Ben's christening! I am sitting with my friends Thomas and Evie (Evie bit Sam at The Royal Arms pub we went to afterwards!)

Grandad's Birthday

Way back in Agust it was my Grandad's birthday. He came over to vist us and opened his presents and we gave him a cake with some candles to blow out - we only had 4 candles though!
I'm all dressed up as I got to go out for tea with Nanny and Grandad to celebrate, we went to PIzza Express, my favourite!

Camping in the New Forest!

Daddy took Sam and I camping in the New Forest for a night in the Summer holidays. Hannah and Tom, Marie and Charlie came as well. (Mummy stayed at home to look after Maddie as she is too small for camping - that is Mummy's story anyway!).

When we arrived it was pouring with rain and it took Daddy nearly 3 hours to put up the tent. Once we had settled in we went for a walk and had some tea in a pub. After a good night's sleep we were woken up by the noisy rain. We had our breakfast outside and packed up all the camping gear. We went for another walk and saw lots of horses before coming home to see Mummy and Maddie. Maybe we will go camping for longer next year!

Paultons Park

In the Summer holidays, we had a day out at Paultons Park. Lisa, Danny, Abbie, Marie and Charlie. (Sam came as well - we left Maddie with Nanny and Grandad). When we arrived I had my photo taken with Percy the Owl. Sam was very frightened of him!

We went on lots of rides, there was hardly any queue even though it was a Sunday. I went on the log flume with Mummy and got quite wet! I went on a really scarey ride called the jumping jack and I was very frightened (Mummy enjoyed herself though!). We watched the penguins have the tea and saw lots of other animals. At the end of the day Daddy bought me a Percy the Owl to take home with me! I had a great day!

Abbie's Sports Day!

Just like last year, we got to go and watch Abbie in her nursery's sports day! I ran in the children's race with Charlie and Sam and we all got medals. As it was such a hot afternoon we decided to take our shirts of and act like athletes!

Last day as a Hedgehog!

All too soon, it was the end of term and my last day as a Hedgehog with Mrs Francis! I have come such a long way this year and grown up so much, although I think Mummy was more sad I was leaving Mrs Francis than I was! Here is me and Alex with her at the end term!

Me and my little bro!

Here is me with my little bro!

Going to a disco

We had an end of year disco at school - it didn't finish until 7.45pm! Here is Alex and I just before we went! I think we look cool!

A spot of dressing up!

When Abbie and Charlie came round a while ago, we all decided to dress up! I think we all look great!

Sports Day

Sports Day at school happened to be on my birthday! Since the weather was so hot, we got to wear our own cool summer clothes to school all day. In the afternoon we all had to get into teams ready for Sports Day. I was in Team Canada with Georgia and Abigail Fr from my class. There was 13 activities arranged in a circle around our field (3 of those were drinking stations!) and we had 2 minutes to do each one as a team. The team with the most points at the end was the winner. Team Canada came 5th, but I had a great time!

My 6th birthday!

My birthday was on a friday so I had to go to school. But before I went I opened all my presents (I had only opened a few from my party, so I had loads of presents to open!) I got lots of really cool things - Mummy and Daddy got me a lego police station set and a new football type shirt!

I had a really fun day at school, I got to wear the birthday hat and choose who sat on the birthday bench with me. In the afternoon we had Sports Day (see next post!). After school, I had my friend Olivia round for tea (she couldn't come to my party) and also Eve from across the road (who also couldn't come to my party!).Abbie and Ben came round as well! Since the weather was so hot we had the paddling pool and water slide out. After lots of playing, we had a party tea sitting out in the garden. I had another birthday cake and we all had ice lollies.
All to soon it was time for bed - I had to have a good night's sleep as I was off to Menorca with Tammy the next morning!

My birthday party

Mummy racked her brains for ages as to where I could have my party - everyone was going to Runabout so we wanted somewhere else! We finally came up with Little Angels (Tri Lakes) in Yateley! It was a great choice because not many people from school had been there before. Unfortunately it was one of the hottest days of the year and everyone got very hot and sweaty running around - Mummy had to keep giving people drinks to try and cool them off!
I had 24 people at my party (including me!) and we all had a brilliant time playing in the play frame and then we got to have a hot tea. After we had eaten I blew out the candles on my cake and everyone got a goody bag to go home with! It was a brilliant party!

The monkey bars

I have finally mastered the monkey bars on our climbing frame! You need to have really strong arms!

Tavistock's Got Talent

Following on from Britain's got Talent, Mrs Eagle decided that our school would have a similar contest.
Ethan and I decided we were going to do a rap, so Ethan's mum kindly wrote us some words and I practiced them at home. (the chorus was"We've got talent, you've got talent, Ethan and Harry have loads of talent"!)
We dressed up in our rap gear and auditioned in front of our class. Unfortunately we didn't make it through to the next round, but it was great fun! We're going to practice even harder for next year!
We had a visit from Auntie Tammy a month or so ago (in fact it seems like AGES since we last saw her!). We had a fab time playing in Nanny's garden and she kept bouncing us high on Nanny's gym ball!

Alfie's Christening

My nephew Alfie was christened in June. After the church service we all went to the Queens Head pub. We had lots of yummy food and there was a massive bouncy castle to bounce on.

Another Haven holiday!

At the end of May we went to the Haven site at Devon Cliffs. We had a really nice caravan and our campsite even had it's own beach. We went with Lisa, Danny, Abbie, Ben, Marie and Charlie and all had a great time - playing on the beach and in the swimming pool. I liked the club house in the evening and watching the shows. As I was such a good boy Daddy bought me a superhero Bradley cuddly toy! I was really sad to come home as well!

A secret hideaway!

Here's me trying to hide from everyone in the garden!

Dressing up with Ellie!

When Ellie came to play in the Easter holidays we had great fun playing on the climbing frame! We also decided to dress up - I was Sporticus and Ellie was a fairy!
I think we look great!

Mummy found this photo of Ellie and I playing together when we were little! We are still great friends now!

Bring a Dad to School Day!

After the Easter holidays - my school held its annual "Bring a Dad to school Day". Daddy got to spend the whole day with me, and he even had a school dinner! He played out in the playground with all the other children and dads at playtime and even came to assembly with us!

We had to do some maths work in the morning, as well as some designing, and in the afternoon we got to make our invention. I designed an Army tank - which Daddy said was really hard to make but we managed it!

All in all we had a great day - Mummy says she wishes she could come to school with me as well!

A day at Bockett's Farm

During the Easter holidays, we went to Bockett's Farm, with Marie, Charlie, Lisa, Abbie and Ben. We got to see lots of animals (we even saw a real live lamb being born) but my favourite part was playing in the play areas. There was tractors to climb on and a big outdoor slide, trampolines, and even a massive "pillow" to jump on. They also had an indoor play barn which was great fun as well!

We got to stroke a lamb and a rabbit and we also fed the cows and goats. I really liked Bockett's Farm and hope we can go again in the Summer Holidays!

A visit to Alice Holt

During the Easter holidays, we paid a visit to Alice Holt forest. We followed the trail around the forest and there was lots of things to play on as we went round. I liked climbing the tree and balancing on the wood and playing in the wooden house.
Once we had walked around, we had a play in the 2 playgrounds. Sam kept trying to follow me when I was crossing the beams and climbing over the tall frames - it won't be long before he can do it to!

Some girls to play!

Over the Easter holidays I had some friends over the play. My friends Katie and Maddie from school came over for lunch. After lunch Daddy took us for a walk in the woods. When we got back, Eve came over to play as well, and Daddy helped us set up obstacle courses round the garden.
We had a great time - 3 girls and me!

Easter egg hunt!

On Easter Sunday morning, I was pleased to discover the Easter bunny had paid us a visit. Not only had he left egg for Sam, Maddie and I, but also some for Charlie, Abbie, Ben and Alfie. There was loads of eggs hidden all over the garden!
We all had great fun finding them, and I helped Abbie and Charlie read the names on the eggs.

Easter cooking!

Mummy has got a bit behind with our blogs recently, hence it is now June and she hasn't even blogged about Easter yet! She says she will catch up eventually!
Before we broke up for the Easter holidays we were lucky enough to do some cooking in school. Isobel's mum (Mrs Bruce) made us Easter biscuits and we all had a turn at decorating them using lots of icing and yummy sweets!
In the Easter holidays Mummy and I made some Easter nests. Well, Mummy helped me melt the chocolate but other than that she let me get on with it myself, and was very pleased with the results! They tasted delicious as well!

A friend to stay for the weekend!

Last weekend Mrs Francis chose me to bring our class hedgehog Prickles home for the weekend. (Our class has two cuddly hedgehogs, Spike and Prickles - I had Spike home to stay back in September!). I was really excited, although Mummy was a bit worried as we didn't have anything exciting planned for our weekend!

On Saturday Prickles and I had great fun dressing up. We played with the mega blocks and built Prickles a house (although Sam kept breaking it!). We practised riding my two wheeler (which I appear to have forgotten how to do!) and played in the garden. Prickles helped me play a game on Saturday night (if I am good at the weekends, I get to stay up a bit later and play a game with Mummy and Daddy). Mummy won Frustration though! Prickles and I had some of Mummy and Daddy's chinese takeaway before we went to bed! On Sunday I had a big treat. Mummy took me to the cinema to watch Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D. We went to the new Vue cinema in Camberley and had to wear 3D glasses. The film was really good - both Prickles and Mummy enjoyed it!
I had a very busy Sunday as I had to do my homework (which we haven't had for months!) and fill in Prickle's diary. Mummy was also very busy trying to organise me a tiger outfit for monday morning (as we were having a Tiger day to finish off our topic of animals).

Fun on the Climbing Frame

We have been really lucky now the weather has been better as Sam and I can now play out in the garden. I love our climbing frame, especially swinging across the monkey bars and going up and down the slide. Sam tries to copy me however and either gets to the top of the ladder and gets stuck, or climbs up the side of the climbing frame and needs help to get into the middle bit. I'm sure it won't be long before he copies me!
