A friend to stay for the weekend!

Last weekend Mrs Francis chose me to bring our class hedgehog Prickles home for the weekend. (Our class has two cuddly hedgehogs, Spike and Prickles - I had Spike home to stay back in September!). I was really excited, although Mummy was a bit worried as we didn't have anything exciting planned for our weekend!

On Saturday Prickles and I had great fun dressing up. We played with the mega blocks and built Prickles a house (although Sam kept breaking it!). We practised riding my two wheeler (which I appear to have forgotten how to do!) and played in the garden. Prickles helped me play a game on Saturday night (if I am good at the weekends, I get to stay up a bit later and play a game with Mummy and Daddy). Mummy won Frustration though! Prickles and I had some of Mummy and Daddy's chinese takeaway before we went to bed! On Sunday I had a big treat. Mummy took me to the cinema to watch Monsters Vs Aliens in 3D. We went to the new Vue cinema in Camberley and had to wear 3D glasses. The film was really good - both Prickles and Mummy enjoyed it!
I had a very busy Sunday as I had to do my homework (which we haven't had for months!) and fill in Prickle's diary. Mummy was also very busy trying to organise me a tiger outfit for monday morning (as we were having a Tiger day to finish off our topic of animals).

Fun on the Climbing Frame

We have been really lucky now the weather has been better as Sam and I can now play out in the garden. I love our climbing frame, especially swinging across the monkey bars and going up and down the slide. Sam tries to copy me however and either gets to the top of the ladder and gets stuck, or climbs up the side of the climbing frame and needs help to get into the middle bit. I'm sure it won't be long before he copies me!

My friend Emma came to tea!

I went to my friend Emma's house for tea a while back and a couple of Fridays ago she came to my house for tea. At first I wasn't sure what Emma would want to play (and Emma was quite shy) but after a while we all relaxed and had a great time. We played in the garden, we went on the computer, played with my play book and had pizza and salad for tea. After tea Mummy turned the music up on the TV and we did some dancing. Even Sam joined in! I like playing with Emma (as well as being in the same class we are also in the same group for certain things and also go to Club Energy together!)

A doughnutting party!

Matthew C invited me to his 6th birthday party at the Aldershot ski slopes where we got to ride the doughnuts for an hour! After a short teaching session we were allowed to ride the huge inflatable rings.
We had to wear long sleeves, gloves and a helmet to protect us from the slopes but it was very hot pulling the ring all the way up the slopes. I was sweating! But it was brilliant fun speeding down the slope. We had a party tea afterwards and Matthew's mum said everyone was starving after all that exercise and everything was eaten!

Red Nose Day!

Red Nose Day was a couple of week's ago now! We had a very fun day at school that Day. We had to go to school wearing our uniform backwards (I even had my coat on backwards!). We had Taffy bounce in the morning (where we got to bounce on a bouncy castle for one minute and the number of bounces got counted - I managed 85!). We had an interesting assembly and after school I went to Matthew C's doughnutting party (see next post)!. What a lovely day!
