Grandad is 60!

On Monday, my grandad was 60 years old. On sunday, we had a BBQ round Nanny and Grandad's house with Tammy, Auntie Sarah and Nanny Peggy. The BBQ was delicious and we played in the garden for a while. We got Grandad a cake with a photo of him as a little boy on it and he blew out the candles (there were only 6 candles though - not 60!).

Our Animal Zoo!

Last week, Clare, Ellie and Ray came round our house to play. Whilst mummy was busy talking to Clare, and Ray and Sam played me and Ellie were busy. We made our very own Animal Zoo using lots of my toys which we laid out on the patio. It was good fun, except when mummy made us bring them all in at the end!!

A Day at Paulton's Park!

As we hadn't really done much in the Summer holidays (as mummy had Maddie!) we decided to go to Paulton's Park for the Day. Marie, Charlie and Abbie came too.
It only took about an hour to get there and we arrived just in time for lunch. After a picnic we started to explore and found lots to do. Mummy and I went on a flying ride and then I went on a digger with Abbie. Daddy went on the log flume with me, which was okay but I didn't want to go on it again!
We walked through Dinosaur World, which was a bit scary and went on some more rides. We watched a show and saw some penguins, meer cats and reindeers. After an ice cream and a few more rides, we went home. I loved Paulton's Park and can't wait to go again.

Sam is One!

On 28 July, Sam was one year's old. Mummy and daddy had decorated our lounge with banners and we had lots to do to get ready for our BBQ. We even blew the ball pond up, which Sam loved, as did Abbie and Charlie.
Even though it wasn't boiling hot, we had the paddling pool out which we all liked playing in. Daddy got in with Sam and Sam loved splashing everyone!

It started to rain about 4pmish so we took the opportunity to go inside and open Sam's presents. I think I enjoyed opening the presents more than Sam did, although he did like his hoover Marie and Charlie got him.

It then brightened up again so we were able to eat our BBQ outside and Sam enjoyed his first piece of birthday cake.

Auntie Tammy

Auntie Tammy came home from London a couple of weeks ago and we went round to see her at Nanny and Grandad's house.

Mummy took the opportunity to dress me and Sam in the same clothes, so we looked like twins!
We had a lovely roast dinner and a fun play with Tammy in the garden.

Abbie's Sports Day

On Friday afternoon a couple of week's ago, Abbie's nursery had a Sports Day. Daddy took me and Sam (as mummy was tired and was going to have a rest with Maddie!) and it was lovely and sunny. We saw Abbie and the other nursery children run in her races. They even had races for brothers and sisters (and uncles and cousins!) so Charlie and I got to run as well. We even got a medal! Afterwards there was a picnic tea, which was lovely!

A baby sister!

On Tuesday 22 July, mummy had her baby! It was all a bit of a surprise because when I woke up on tuesday morning, mummy and daddy had gone to the hospital and Nanny was at our house. I got ready for school, and then daddy rang to say my baby sister had been born at 0731. Grandad came and took me to school and I was very excited to tell all my friends (and their mums) my exciting news.
At school Mrs Henderson made a list of all the names everyone in my class thought of (Sparkle and Flower being popular choices! I chose Daisy and someone even suggested Martin!). Daddy came and collected me and when I got home I met my new sister for the first time.
Sam stayed at Nanny's the first night, and I stayed at home as I had school the next day. I helped Daddy change her first nappy (which was disgusting!) and rocked her in her crib!
The next day Nanny bought Sam home and for the first time she held all three of her grandchildren!!

All the fun of the Carnival!

Ages ago now! (back in July) I had a really busy saturday. After mummy and daddy having an eventful day with Sam (he ended up in children's A and E with a urine infection) and I had Katie and Maddie's party, we went to Fleet Carnival.

Lisa and Danny bought Charlie and Abbie round and we all walked to the start of the procession in Reading Road South. Before it started, we had a look at a fire engine and a fire quad bike and even got to wear a fireman's hat! We also met Thomas and Evie and had a great view of the start of the procession. Mummy didn't stay for long as Sam was poorly and had to go home, but we got lots of sweets and leaflets and balloons from the floats. We all had a great time!
