Daddy had to work last weekend and Mummy likes to keep us busy whilst he is working! So, she arranged for us to go for a walk around Hawley Lake with her friend Janet. After meeting at Janet's house we walked into Hawley Woods (picking some chestnuts on the way!).
Since we went quite early in the morning (it was 10.30am ish!) the ducks were still really hungry. Luckily we took lots of bread and I enjoyed throwing it in to them! Sam however prefered eating it! After using up all our bread, we went for a walk around the lake. I ran most of the way whilst Mummy and Janet chatted.
We didn't make it all the way around the lake as we ran out of time (Sam needed his lunch!) but Mummy said we walked a good few miles! No wonder I fell straight to sleep that night!
