We have been practising very hard at school for the Year One Christmas Play - A Soldier's Story. I was a soldier, and Mummy was very pleased as my costume was a school jumper and some black trousers! I had a line to say as well "the shepherds made their way to Bethlehem Town".We did two performances. The dress rehersal was on Friday afternoon last week and Mummy, Nanny W, Lisa, Marie, Abbie and Charlie came. Everyone really enjoyed it - the only shame was that lots of people in my class were poorly. There are usually 28 people in Hedgehog class, and on Friday there were only 17! Mrs Francis said she has never known so many people off at the same time!
We did our evening performance on monday. Daddy, Nanny P and Grandad came to watch. They said it was brilliant. In both shows I said my line really loudly and clearly and Mummuy and Daddy were very proud of me!
