Two weeks ago I finished all the reading books in the Reading Scheme at school. Level's one to nine were lots of different stories based on Duck Green School and the children who went there. Level 10 was 6 non fiction books, about making decorations, new year celebrations, fireworks and so on. These were okay but Mummy enjoyed the story ones better!On Thursday (book change day) when I had finished all the Level 10 books, I went to see Mrs Eagle as I was the first one in my class to be a Free Reader. I got a Head Teacher's award sticker and was put in the Happy Book!
So, every thursday I get to chose my own reading book from the library. So far I have picked one about a zoo (easy), a Robin Hood one (hard - Mummy said the story for a bit too old for me) and one about Rats (just right!). I really like reading my own books now!
